Known for its museums, art, and culture, Chicago has several different vibrant neighborhoods for you to explore, whether it’s the world-famous shopping street of the Magnificent Mile or the cultural hub of Hyde Park, where Barrack Obama used to live.

Location: Just a five-minute walk from the Magnificent Mile and ten minutes from attractions such as the Museum of Contemporary Art and the Navy pier, Eurostars is an excellent option if you want to explore Chicago’s bustling center.

This hotel is a little further out of town, which, of course, makes it cheaper, but by no means less luxurious.

It is trendy and stylish, with large rooms all equipped with flat-screen TVs and en-suites.

Location: It has great access to the Fulton River District, and the Chicago Board of Trade Building is just over a mile away, making it great for business trips.

Midway International Airport is just over eight miles away, so you can get here easily no matter how far you’re travelling.


7. The Blackstone

In downtown Chicago, you’ll find this beautiful historic building, with ornate carvings, painted ceilings, and stylish furnishings.

The on-site tapas restaurant will offer you a plethora of delicious Mediterranean delicacies, and the elegant rooms will make all your friends envious.

Location: Grant Park is just across the street as a lovely green space on the banks of Lake Michigan, with the beautiful Buckingham Fountain at its center.

There are several L stops around for you to explore the city, but you’re within walking distance of the center, too.

Yet another gorgeous old building here, with fabulous facilities and quirky décor, all inspired by Athletics!

As you might guess, there is a top of the range sports center and indoor bocce ball court, but there’s also a vintage 19th-century ballroom for you to have a fabulously flamboyant evening of drinks and dancing.

Eateries include the popular Shake Shack, as well as Cindy’s rooftop bar, boasting incredible views of Millennium Park.

Location: Just yards away from the hotel are attractions such as Chicago Art Institute. The nearest airport is Chicago O’Hare Airport, just over 15 miles away.

This is a prime example of modern architecture in Chicago. On top, you can observe all the fabulous buildings in the city from the rooftop bar lounge.

Location: You’ll be just a ten-minute walk away from Navy Pier, where you can enjoy breathtaking views of Lake Michigan and head over to Magnificent Miles to get some shopping done.

You’ll have a choice of two airports here, both very easily accessible – just 18 miles away from Chicago O’Hare, or 12 miles away from Midway International Airport.

Location: Although not quite in the center, it’s just three miles away from the Magnificent Mile. You can either take a scenic walk through this leafy suburb or jump on the L.

If you fancy catching a game, the home of the Chicago Bulls at the United Center is a 14-minute drive away, and the banks of Lake Michigan aren’t much further.

As it is made primarily out of glass, this hotel boasts a fantastic view across the city and out towards Lake Michigan. This is especially true of the aptly named Café des Architects, which serves up French-inspired cuisine, and Le Bar, which has floor-to-ceiling windows.

Location: The Art Institute of Chicago and Navy Pier are just two miles away; you can walk through the stunning city center to either of these attractions.

Because of its dazzling crystal ballroom, with ornate carvings, shimmering chandeliers, and stylish 1920s style cocktail bar. You’ll be treated to elegance and class during your stay here, so it’s perfect if you want something a bit more luxurious.

Location: Millennium Knickerbocker is found just steps away from the gorgeous Oak Street Beach or Holy Name Cathedral and Chicago Museum of Contemporary Art if you’re looking for a bit more culture.

This huge hotel overlooks the southern part of the city. If you’re lucky, you should get some brilliant views of Michigan.

With over 90,000 square feet of meeting space, this is a brilliant hotel choice for a business trip or an event like a party.

Location: If you’re here for a bit of sight-seeing, jump on board at the Cermak McCormick Place Green Line Train into the city center to see amazing attractions like Millennium Park and Navy Pier.

Known for being ex-President Obama’s home neighborhood, this is a trendy part of the city where you’ll get to know the culture and vibrancy of the city’s music, arts, and literature scene.

This feeds into the hotel itself, which features community-inspired artwork throughout its stylish seating areas and restaurant.

Location: This is a little out of the city center but is well connected by public transport. If you do have a car, Millennium Park is just under a 15-minute drive away.

The hotels itself oozes luxury, and because it’s a little out of the center, the price is a bit more affordable than our other recommendations.

With mosaic floors, marble ceilings, and a beautifully ornate staircase throughout, this boutique hotel is stunning both inside and out.

You can even bring your furry friends along; pets will be given beds and water.

There’s also a fitness centre and bike rental if you want to get around the city in a green way.

Location: Less than a five-minute walk away are the Institute of Art and eh Chicago Theater. You’ll be right at the center of this amazing city while being able to enjoy some of its most remarkable architecture.
