Be sure to make Hurricane Bay a vacation destination this summer. With thrilling rides, exciting play areas and cool pools, everyone is sure to have a memorable time. Adrenaline and adventure junkies will have an absolute blast on the rides. Raft down the huge funnel of the Tornado. Zoom down the mysterious twists and turns of the body slide, Vanishing Falls. Whirl down the huge bowl of the Waikiki Wipeout. Rush down the crazy fast Wave Runner slide where you’ll drop sixty-six feet over three huge bumps. Grab the family and raft down the awesome, fifty-two foot high Plummet Summit.

You might have to adjust your bathing suit after a ride on the Mega Wedgie. The huge, hundred foot slide plunges into a massive bowl for a swirling, whirling adventure. You’ll love tubing down the Kilawaya, the Forbidden Passage, Calypso Run and the exciting water coaster, the Deluge. The Deep Water Dive slide might just make you scream.

Kids will have a blast at the Buccaneer Beach and at the Splash Zone, complete with a massive dumping bucket and a whole host of interactive fun. The Family Wave Lagoon and the Big Surf make for hours of splashing, splishing fun. Bob down the Adventure River or grab a tube and relax on the tranquil waters of the Castaway Creek, a scenic journey you won’t soon forget. Dry off at the park and head on over to the theme park for a ton of dryland fun or just come back another day to experience it all!

With a whole host of slides and activities, Venture River makes for hours of wet and wild fun. Grab a tube and race down the huge Waloopas. Zoom head first down the Matanascar mat slides. Raft down three and a half stories of crazy dips and plunges on the Fumbi slide. Brave the half pipe style Cliffhanger ride where you whoosh down a three and a half story drop then shoot back up the side of the huge half pipe, only to slide back down.

The whole family can enjoy a raft ride on the Twin Twisters Tube Slide. The Tripe Mania body slides will have you screaming. Brave the twists and turns of the outer slides or go for the straight drop in the middle. Drop over seventy feet on the Dueling Demon Speed Slides. When you’re ready to take a break from all the thrills, float down the gentle waters of the Old Man River or relax on the swells of the Hurricane Wave Pool. Children will love Frog Island and the Pleasure Island Kiddie Pool areas which are both jam packed with tons of exciting activities. The park also features sand volleyball.

Open seasonally, Kentucky Splash boasts a multitude of exciting activities for everyone. Thrill seekers will love the Tripe Slide Complex. Standing forty feet tall, there are two tube slides and a body slide sure to make for hours of heart racing adrenaline. Zoom down the Aquatwist, the huge slides that stand thirty feet tall and are guaranteed to send you whirling to the bottom in ten seconds or less.

Children will have a blast over at Tadpole Island which features over six thousand feet of wet activities, a play structure, slides and a huge dumping bucket. The Wipeout Wavepool offers eighteen thousand square feet of wet, wild waves and the Lazy Castaway River extends over nine hundred feet. When you’re ready to dry off, head on over to the mini golf course. The eighteen holes are sure to make for hours of fun.

For a day filled with adventure, head on down to Paradise Cove. Children and adults alike will enjoy the cool waters of the huge, eight lane swimming pool. The pool is complete with diving boards so you can practice all your flips and tricks or just make a big splash. Kiddies will love the play pool made just for them. It boasts a zero-depth entry as well as tons of interactive features. For hours of thrills and spills, there are two slides. Both tower forty feet above the park. Pick the straight slide for whooshing, wild speeds or pick the spiral slide for mysterious twists and turns. For smaller riders there’s a family slide that’s just the right size, and for tots there’s a butterfly slide. If you want to put up your feet and enjoy the water park from the shade, there are plenty of chairs and umbrellas. The park is complete with a concession for treats afterwards.

The huge dumping bucket, slides, and huge play structure with over thirty different activities are a must see. The Wading Pool was built with smaller children in mind. Kids under 48” will have a blast splashing in the shallow depths. The lazy river is absolutely huge and winding for a relaxing, drifting good time. For those seeking an adrenaline rush, the tube slide is sure to get you screaming. There are also three body slides and a speed slide at the park.
