2. Historic Hotels of Lake Geneva
There are two properties for guests to stay at when they book with Historic Hotels. The Baker House was built in 1885 where guests will be able to experience all the ambiance of the Gilded age. The Maxwell Mansion was built in 1856 and was the very first mansion that was built in Lake Geneva. Each house has uniquely decorated rooms with a historic feel and luxury amenities.
Both properties are committed to giving guests the real Gilded Age experience when it comes to dining, and both offer themed restaurants, bars, lounges, and even a speakeasy. Guests will also be able to join in on nightly dinnertime entertainment. For fun, guests can join in on Murder Mystery Cocktail Parties, or go off and explore the rest of Lake Geneva and get lots in the historic downtown district.
